How to Choose a Pharmacy
CHOOSING A PHARMACY
When choosing a pharmacy the priorities should not be convenience, sales in the store or free giveaways. Would you choose a bad Dr. because you could get some shopping done while you wait to be seen? I would not. I have had to deal with pharmacies for over 30 years. I would go to a small independently owned pharmacy with 3 employees and 2 pharmacist’s. He would greet me by name and know what I coming in for (all insulin was over the counter then) and he actually knew based on the last time in what I needed, because he some how remembered approximately when I was in last and what I bought. He would say Nph today (which was Lilly’s brand of long acting insulin not made any more) or if I needed syringes he would know based on the last time it was filled. Now pharmacies are soon going to be at Starbucks so you can have some caffeine while you wait for your blood pressure medicine. The mail order, chain stores and the supermarkets are slowly putting the independent pharmacies out of business and I’m going to tell you why this is bad.
1 ) They treat their pharmacist’s poorly which makes them not as into helpful as they should be.
2 ) They are usually under staffed or staffed with arrogant teens who are thinking about the date they have.
3 ) They are so busy if you have a question they will say aisle 6 on the right and not ask the appropriate questions.
4 ) They will tell you a minimum of 30 minutes to 2 hours so you will shop as instructed by their boss.
5 ) Under staffing and increased business is one of the main reasons for pharmacy errors.

DECLINING NUTRITIONAL VALUE IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES MAY BE A CONCERN.
For years the debate has raged on about the benefits and drawbacks of modern farming techniques. Industrial agriculture or “hyper-farming” has resulted in giant strides in crop yield, but many claim nutrient content – and thus their total nutritional value to humans – has been suffering.
The average yield in terms of bushels per acre for major crops in the US has sky rocketed since the 1950′s. Corn is up 342%! Wheat is up 290% while both Soy beans and Alfalfa are up about 170%. Similar sorts of yield gains have occurred in Europe, Australia, Japan and other regions of the world as well.
Data presented by researchers from the Department of Soil Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Madison shows that while these great advances in crop yield have occurred in the last 50 years nutrient content has been under siege and declining. Similarly, a review of data published by the USDA’s ARC Nutrient Data Laboratory shows “a sharp decline in the minerals, vitamins and other nutrients in foods since the last comprehensive survey”, about 20 years ago.
NEW EVIDENCE ON NUTRIENT DEPLETION
Recent data published by Dr. David Thomas, a primary healthcare practitioner and independent researcher, looked at the difference between UK governments published tables for nutrient content published in 1940 and again in 2002. The comparison was eye-opening. It showed that the iron content of 15 different varieties of meat had decreased 47%. Dairy products had shown similar falls; a 60% drop in iron and up to a 90% drop in copper.

Makeup for Droopy Eyes
Has anyone ever told you that you have “puppy dog” eyes? If they have, then you have the “droopy eye” eye shape. This eye shape is where the outer corners of your eyes are turned slightly downward, or they seem lower than the inner corners of your eyes. There is a pretty simple way to apply eye makeup to de-accentuate that eye shape and make your eyes appear more open and lifted.
The trick is simple. You want to keep all eye makeup off of the very outer corners of your eyes. If you apply makeup in the outer corners, it drags them down more and actually makes your eyes appear droopier than they already are.
Here is a step-by-step easy way to apply your eye makeup. You will use at least three shades of eye shadow: highlight is the lightest shade, midtone is darker, and the accent is the darkest shade. In order to provide a visible “lift” to the outer corners of your eye, do the following:
1. Apply the highlight shade to the brow bone and eyelid as well as the inner corner of the lower lash line.
2. Be careful with the midtone shade, proper placement will lift the outer corners of your eyes. Apply the midtone shade slightly in from the outside corner of the eye. You will then sweep the color upwards and in across the crease and into the inside corner of your eye – (but not onto the sides of the bridge of your nose!) Also apply the midtone shade along your lower lashline using a thin, flat eyeliner brush. You will start slightly in from the outside corner and brush it across to the inside corner. I know I said don’t put anything in the outside corners, however, applying a little midtone shade across most of the entire lower lashline will help it blend with the accent shade later on.
Improve Your Health With a Colon Cleanse Diet
You can improve your general health with a regular colon cleanse. In addition, a colon cleanse diet will keep you healthy and help you lose weight, as well. This is easily accomplished with a colon cleanse tablet.
A healthy colon is probably one of the most overlooked aspects of health today. But, a healthy digestive tract is vital to a steady metabolism, weight control, and your general well-being. Your body battles the effects of stress every day. This stress releases chemicals in your body that affect your digestive system in many ways, most of them negative. With the diets most people have, and medications as well, your body is full of toxins. They, of course, get hung up in your digestive tract, causing colitis, cancer, and constipation, but also causing problems higher up in the digestive system. You can end up with ulcers and acid reflux if your digestive system is messed up.
You can reduce risks of many ailments with a regular colon cleanse. When toxins build up in your system, it affects every part of your body, from your internal organs to your skin. Toxins can also contribute to inflammatory diseases. Your liver, especially, can suffer from toxins and inflammation, because it filters everything that comes through your body. So, all of the medicine you take, all of the high-fat junk food you eat, even chemicals you inhale are filtered through your liver. Toxins can also settle in your joints, causing swelling, pain, and other arthritis-like symptoms. Even your skin is affected by toxins in your body, expressing distress through acne and dermatitis. All of this can be avoided with regular cleansing with a regular treatment of a cleanse tablet.

The Origin and Evolution of Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy has long since been used as a method of healing various ailments that plague the human body. For thousands of years, healers have tapped into the healing properties of aromatherapy. Although, its roots are are hard to trace, scientists and doctors have found that aromatherapy can be dated back at least 4000 years. The Egyptians were the first noted to use botanics in several different ways. Using a number of spices and herbs, the Egyptians were said to indulge in soothing massages aided by the aromas. These spices and herbs were also commonly used as medication, within their cosmetics and even in embalming.
Many centuries later, Hippocrates was the first to bring aromatherapy into the forefront as a high profile procedure. 2000 years earlier, the physician’s creed was written attesting to the benefits of aromatherapy as both a physical and emotional healer. Within the 10th century, the Arabs used aromatherapy by extracting the oils from plants through the process of distillation. There are many other cultures throughout history that used the curative powers of plants in potions, aromas and even jewelry. Through distillation, extracting oils from herbs and plants has been widely used as a therapy for emotional and physical ailments. Aromatherapy is able to treat and cure ailments such as headaches, asthma, arthritis, acne, dry skin and herpes.
In the 1900s, both France and England attempted to reintroduce the healing properties of aromatherapy to the populace by garnering positive reviews from the traditional medical community. France has since been successful in reinstating ancient remedies into modern applications. French doctors are known to prescribe aromatherapy to special patients. It is widely common for French pharmacies to stock and sell a wide variety of oils and crushed herbs. Insurance companies are also willing to pay for medical treatments which involve ancient healing remedies such as aromatherapy.
